Christmas- Along with it a time of mediation and thinking

Blessed and a joyous Christmas to all. Praise and thank Jesus born in Bethlehem
I have come to the realisation that blogging should not be a time to let my voice be heard but God's. Its been a while since I last blogged. Lots of things I wanted to share, like going for the Singapore vs Vietnam match at stadium, etc. Yet I wanted to share of God's sovereignty. (which means that He is always in control).
Sunday's message was on future faith. Continual of all the faith story of Hebrews 11. These statements struck me, "God allows things to happen to people so that His Will is done.". "God may not justify the means but He is in control." On the story of Jacob being blessed instead of Esau by Isaac, It indeed fits in and explains the contradiction to an extent.
The Christmas eve Service, Pastor talked about why God allowed so many innocent babies to die because Herod the king wanted to kill infant Jesus. There's these sentences that sort of sum up this thing. " They died so that Jesus can live and die for them." "God let His Son to escape death once so that He might not escape death the next time so that we can escape death every time."
Summary: God is in control, not only in His ultimate plan, but also in tiny details and issues in the life of each and everyone of us. Learn to trust Him in everything and as you do so, manifest His love to those around.
May this time be a time of reflection and learning, digesting of God's word as we seek Him day by day, onwards to the nest year coming ahead.
