GO CHINA! GO SINGAPORE!
Now that the prelim and A level is coming, maybe its time to panic and worry. At least it shouldnt be all talk no action and to all people out there- SAVE yourself. My father used to tell me God does not help those who does not help themselves. I think I am now going to try my best to SAVE myself.
With one week more left to study, I guess I cannot do it on my own. Or at least just try my very best to study and leave the rest to God. I was listening to "Let not the wise man", for indeed man should not boast of its power and might. Jeremiah 9:23-24
23 Thus says the LORD:
“ Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom,
Let not the mighty man glory in his might,
Nor let the rich man glory in his riches;
24 But let him who glories glory in this,
That he understands and knows Me,
That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth.
For in these I delight,” says the LORD.
The bid for 8 gold medals by Michael phelps ( he got 7 now) was incredibly and somewhat a real feat. Yet was there real glory in becoming a person with the most Olympics gold?
The extraordinary attention Phelps and all the other athletes get, are they necessary? There might be glory brought to the country, yet this is more of a personal glory as seen in Phelps.
Whatever the case, I am of no right to judge.
Ok, got to say bye for a long while. Congratz on Singapore winning their medal FINALLY. haha.
