Children Camp is over- Onwards to the real battle out there.
This camp was quite a experience for me, and I enjoyed and find joy in serving.
The theme of the camp was 'Castle of Christ' and what a castle inside the hall that was set up by our church aunties.
I believe many already know of Christians being described as soldiers of God, having the armour of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and that is what the children learnt, and I also was drilled hard on truths that was very fundamental and essential in the Christian walk.
1. We are created to Glorify God.
2. We can glorify God through our words, thoughts, actions.
3. To Glorify God is to reveal the excellence of God.
All the actions that the children learn be it for songs or verses sure proved useful in getting the kids involved.
The theme song 'I am a soldier of the Cross' is quite catchy filled with lots of actions. But I am more inclined to draw to the lyrics of one of the other songs, 'Guard your Heart' The lyrics goes like this:
Guard your Heart, Guard your Heart
As a soldier to his keeping,
Never resting never sleeping,
Ever watching for the fray
Guard your Heart, Guard your Heart
For the world with all its treasures,
Seems to lure you with its pleasures,
To destroy you day by day.
May your eyes look straight before you,
Never turning left or right
Looking only unto Jesus,
His our Goal, our Pure Delight!
Chorus on the next post, well next up is the youth camp and it may be my last as a camper. Looking forward to a time of busking in the Word of God, knowing for sure that He is indeed trustworthy, has infinite Wisdom, most Holy and Love me before I love Him.

My 1st picture uploaded, two camps coming up.

This is a picture of our family dog and our friend's dog staying over at our house. Real lazy dogs there.
Next two weeks I will be going for both the children and youth church's camp. So not going to be at home during the weekdays.
Just trying to work out this whole thing about acting of our faith on God's love as I find my way home from church today.
We are indeed saved through faith by grace, no doubt. Yet maybe we need to have faith in God everyday, every moment. Not one moment can we claim credit for doing something because we think we no need any divine help so we can do it. On to the love part. God's love transcend all boundaries, He love the whites, the blacks, the chinese, the indians, the mixed blood, everyone. Sometimes I thought maybe I can also try to love everyone, but as I consider the bad guys, those that I am a stranger to, I fall short and hesitate to even talk to them, let alone love them.
Loving God means trusting God. Hope God work wonders in your life as He will do in my life in the coming two weeks.
Faith is indeed our victory.

The end of A'level - Onto the next phase of life
Finally, exams are somewhat over. For me it was over since a few days ago. HAHA.
All things always need thank God for His mercies and Grace. And I truly want to thank God for guiding me through this exam. It was tough going but I made it through drawing from the strength and wisdom of God.
God make me well when I sort of sick during this period. He sent people to encourage me when I am feeling weary from studying. Indeed God is good.
Now, time to focus my time on serving in our Church's Children's Camp next week. Looking forward to it. Need to catch up with the other helpers in this camp and try to help. (This Thursday got meeting).
The following week comes the youth camp. (Dec 1st-5th). Maybe my last year as a camper. Thank God for convicting me to go for this Camp instead of the school's Prom night.
Just wanted to share something about serving that Wee Beng wanted me to share with the rest. Luke 10:38 Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. 39 And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’[k] feet and heard His word. 40 But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.”
41 And Jesus[l] answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. 42 But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”
Need to read up more on what these few verses mean. For now I going to play Dota. HAHA.
